Philanthropy

At LNB Electrics, we understand the importance of giving back to the wider community and proudly support the work of charity and not-for-profit organisations by volunteering time and donating financial resources.  Please take the time to read about our primary not-for-profit and charity partners below and feel free to join the support for their causes.

Movember Foundation

The Movember Foundation is a global men’s health charity.  The foundation raises funds that deliver innovative, breakthrough research and support programs that allow men to live happier, healthier and longer lives.  Millions have joined the men’s health movement, raising AUD $685 million and funding over 1,000 projects, focusing on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity.

The Movember vision is to have an everlasting impact on the face of men’s health.

The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is Australia’s leading national body funding game-changing breast cancer research with money raised entirely by the Australian public.

Our mission is simple: stop deaths from breast cancer. How? By identifying, funding and championing world-class research -research that will help us detect tumours earlier, improve treatment outcomes, and ultimately –save lives. Since NBCF’s inception in 1994, the five-year survival rates for breast cancer has increased from 76% to 91%. It’s proof our strategy is working. More than ever, NBCF is focussing keenly on how we can do more with less in order to achieve great outcomes that will impact the longevity and quality of life for patients with breast cancer.

Will Murray Logo

Will is a typical 14-year-old boy whose life up to this point has been full of sport, friends and school.

Renowned as a talented athlete, Will was Vice Captain of the Victorian School Boys State Football Team, represented Australia at the World BMX titles, played representative basketball and captained his school football team.

In one moment, Will’s life changed forever and so did the life of his entire family.

Will sustained a serious neck injury in January 2016, when he was playing with his mates at a local beach in Melbourne’s bayside suburb of Black Rock. An accident off a pier resulted in catastrophic damage to his C5 vertebra and diagnosis of quadriplegia from severe spinal cord injury.

Where There’s A Will There’s A Way is a group of locals close to the Murray family who are committed to doing whatever they can to help them support Will in his recovery.

They have established a trust fund, the Will Murray Trust; and are steering a range of ongoing fundraising activities and events to help relieve the significant financial pressure the Murrays are under.
